Love Can Happen In The Strangest Ways - Emem And Josh's Magical Story

Emem and Josh moved from being strangers to a beautiful couple in one eventful and magical way. When it comes to love, never underestimate the power of connection and mutual friendships. An open mind and heart will always find its way. The saying, whatever is yours will always come to you, holds a lot of truth, you don’t have to fight so much for what is yours, just a little effort would deliver it to your table.

Josh attended his friend’s wedding in late 2018 and got to hang out afterwards with the newlyweds. In 2019, his friend’s wife who happens to be Emem’s close friend suggested jokingly that maybe they could hook them up, just because they both happened to be from Ikot Ekpene, and seemed to have a lot in common, well at-least they each have just one very dear sibling.

Following this conversation, they shared her instagram page with him. Emem was on vacation in Mexico at the time, as she needed some time away and was not so responsive to Josh’s messages but later they were able to connect and found that truly they had a lot of personality and background similarities, and so they started dating 6 months later.

Their relationship and connection grew stronger to their own amazement, despite the distance. Communicating was easy and peaceful and so was everything else.
Fast forward to 2021, Josh asked the question and she said yes. They had their traditional wedding in Ikot Ekpene and a beautiful Catholic wedding in Abuja. Today, we are glad to share their story on our page, one love story we hold so dear. We wish Emem and Josh a very blissful and prosperous marriage. #EJforever21
